This poi tutorial previews an 8 part split time side plane C-CAP in underhand where each pair of 4 (a spin and antispin half circle 2 part C-CAP) starts with the left in the 9 position and right in the 3 position from the viewer’s perspective and left in front right in back from the practitioner’s perspective. The sequence shown here is the first pair driven by the location of the C-CAP — both bottom then both top; & the second pair driven by the starting pattern antispin to spin then spin to antispin C-CAP.

It would be equally accurate to suggest they are always driven by location: both bottom; both top; left bottom/right top; & left top/right bottom. It would also be equally accurate to suggest they are always driven by type of relative rotation: left antispin/right spin; left spin/right anti; both anti; & both spin.
