Advanced staff spinning – The Wave. Rotating the staff with a single hand and motion. (2023)
Demonstration of the technique I call ‘The Wave’ in slow motion. It’s a single handed, single motion way of spinning. This moves incorporates a lot of economy of motion. It can be very difficult to be on axis each and every time. Sometimes you’ll push the staff away, other times the staff will slide ride out of the hands. This horizontal slide can be controlled and made to shoot off horizontally powered by the inertial potential left from the spin.
